PADI Speciality Courses in Kota Kinabalu

The purpose of the PADI Specialty Diver courses is to familiarize divers with the skills, knowledge, planning, organization, procedures, techniques, problems and hazards for various special-interest areas in diving.

To train divers to safely enjoy and gain open water experience in specialty diving activities

To provide awareness in areas of nature

To satisfy the needs of the divers in the special areas of interest

To increase the safety and activity in recreational diving



Program Outlines

Achieving PADI Specialty ratings can take anywhere from as little as one day to a full weekend - but this is all hands on, so you'll be diving right from the start.

Below is a list of the numerous speciality certifications. Get five specialty ratings and you're on your way to becoming a PADI Master Scuba Diver (MSD), the highest level of PADI's non professional certifications.

Speciality Programs: Boat Diver, Deep Diver, Navigation Diver, Night Diver, Enriched Air Nitrox, Underwater Photographer, Underwater Videographer, Diver Propulsion Vehicle, Peak Performance Buoyancy, Dry Suit Diver, Dolphin Atlantis and Ray, Search and Recovery Diver. Aware Fish Identification, Aware Coral Reef Conservation. Digital Underwater Photography.

To complete MSD in addition to the five speciality certs you must be a PADI Rescue Diver. Each of these speciality courses can be an elective dive during the advanced course.

Knowledge mastery is assessed using Knowledge Reviews. Skills mastery is assessed by student demonstration of skill proficiency.
