Downbelow Marine & Wildlife Adventures Sdn. Bhd is the brainchild of British expats and award winning Photo Journalists Richard and Joanne of Downbelow Dive School UK.
Upon realizing that the country is not only a biological melting pot but also a hidden treasure for Travelers, Sport Enthusiasts, Adventure Training and Team Building Events, Downbelow were eager to replicate the success of their UK company to Sabah, Malaysian Borneo and introduce existing international clients to this wonderfully diverse part of the world.

Adventure being our name, we like to spice up our programs by going slightly "off the beaten track" on occasion. This said, on all our courses and activities you will find high standards of safety, experienced and well qualified staff and flexibility to your needs and to the conditions.
Our photography is an illustration of our knowledge and experience within this fascinating region. For more than 10 years we have dived and led corporate and private groups in Sabah. Combine these assets with local born and bread personnel and concentrate it under the umbrella of a company, we feel Downbelow Marine and Wildlife Adventures can offer a Borneo Experience second to none.
As marine enthusiasts we have dedicated part of our website to the creatures we adore. The Marine Biology section of the site is presented as a field guide with creature information for all to enjoy. All research and photography is by Richard and Joanne.
Environmental and wildlife conservation is fundamental to the staff and friends of Downbelow. We conduct, support and promote various initiatives and campaigns.
