PADI Assistant Instructor Course and Instructor Course (IDC)
The PADI Assistant Instructor course is the first portion of the PADI Instructor Development Course (IDC). You may complete this part in the UK earning the AI qualification, then complete the IDC at a center of your choice at a later date, alternatively join us in Sabah- Malaysia to complete the IDC course and become a PADI Open Water Instructor. You'll not only gain additional experience as a PADI Professional but you'll also start learning the PADI System of diver education. To enrol on an AI course you must hold the PADI Divemaster rating or qualifying certification from another certification organization, have logged at least 60 dives and be 18 years or above. The AI part if the IDC takes approx 4 days to complete. The Instructor course takes place in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysian Borneo. Upon completion of the IDC candidates attend an IE (Instructor Examination) lasting two days.
