PADI Scuba Review Program in Kota Kinabalu

The Tunku Abdul Rahman Park provides an ideal location for divers who have not been in the water for a while and wish to brush up on their diving knowledge and skills.

The Scuba Review program consists of three parts — a Knowledge Review and a Confined Water Skills Review plus an open water dive.

The Knowledge Review segment covers the basic safety information divers learn during their entry-level training.

Divers use the Scuba Tune-up guidebook to independently test their knowledge and/or under a PADI Member’s guidance complete the Open Water Diver course quizzes and exam.

The Confined Water Skills Review allows participants to practice basic scuba skills. With guidance from a PADI Member, divers update and fine-tune their diving ability.


A supervised open water dive is an optional addi-tion to the program for certified divers.

This dive offers an opportunity to obtain an environmental orientation to a local dive site from a PADI Member while gain-ing confidence and refreshing dive skills.

Below is the daily itinerary

08.15 hrs  Hotel pickup (KK City)  transfer to Sutera Harbour Jetty for registration and final payment
09.00 hrs Boat to Mamutik Island & Area Orientation
09:30 hrs Knowledge Review Segment
11.00 hrs Tea/coffee surface interval on island
12.00 hrs Confined Water Skills Tune Up
13.15 hrs Lunch
14.00 hrs Optional Scuba Dive for certified divers.
15.30 hrs Boat Transfer to Sutera Harbour
15.40 hrs Return to Hotel

As with all our programs we offer a fully inclusive price, including hotel transfers (KK City) boat transfers, park entry fees, instruction, equipment rental, learning materials and certification fees.
